Hygenic is a specialist supplier of PVC wall and ceiling linings, trusted by industries where hygiene and compliance are essential, including healthcare and food production. Their products are designed to be durable, easy to maintain and meet the strictest standards.

We have worked with Hygenic for over four years, managing their Google Ads and leading a complete rebuild of their website. The centrepiece was a custom Shopify design and build, developed from the ground up to give them a modern eCommerce platform. The site makes it easier for customers to explore the full product range, compare options and place orders, while also being structured to support stronger search performance.

Since launch, the website has directly generated over £100,000 in new business. Combined with targeted Google Ads campaigns, the results have been substantial: a 703% return on ad spend, conversion rates increased from 1.39% to 7.06%, cost per acquisition reduced by 42% and 158 high-value leads delivered in just three months.

Custom Shopify Build

Hygenic needed a store that worked for two different types of buyers. Some know exactly what they need, while others want to compare materials and finishes before making a decision. We designed and developed a custom Shopify build from the ground up to serve both.

The catalogue was restructured to match how customers actually search and purchase. Clear categories, detailed filters and comparison options help buyers refine by size, thickness and finish without having to dig through long lists. Product pages were rebuilt with specifications, fitting guidance and related accessories, with straightforward calls to buy and trade support where required. The checkout was simplified to cut out friction and encourage first-time completion.

Performance and search were built into the framework from the start. Clean URLs, strong internal linking and schema gave search engines a clear view of the range. Templates were designed to load quickly and remain easy to manage, so new products can be added without disrupting the structure. We handled the migration carefully, putting redirects in place to protect existing rankings, and rebuilt tracking so every order could be traced back to its source.

The impact was immediate. The new site has driven a sharp increase in online sales, with the conversion rate climbing from 1.39% to 7.06%. It also works seamlessly with Google Ads, with product feeds and landing pages aligned to the terms that convert best, making paid campaigns more efficient and scalable.

The account was restructured around their core product ranges, with ads linking directly to tailored landing pages and product feeds. Tracking was rebuilt so every order could be tied back to the exact keyword and campaign, giving us the insight needed to optimise spend.
